Ishaism – January

you made me realize I’m perpetual poetry…”

      1. Plain and simple Isha! I’m enjoying your art, enamoured with your writing and fond of you. And it makes me smile to tell you so in lavish phrases 😘🌹🌹

      2. I feel very much at home… you’ve done wonders with the decor here 😊 .. yet shall now graciously take your leave, so that your comment section doesn’t become excessively Diana-fied! πŸŒΉπŸŒΉπŸ’œ
I have no self control on the matter!

      3. Haha, my Diana-fy meets your Isha-ism on a level, (most entertaining) field of wit!
Yet now you throw in another language!! Thrill me evermore – you aren’t a language teacher are you? 🀩

      4. Ah, look at you sherlocking and intuiting your way to guessing, and rightfully so, what I do πŸ˜±πŸ˜πŸ˜‚ Hahah there are more weird words to come and something tells me you’re going to throw in little new gems too, to add to our little treasure box!

      5. Alas, the box may be held in a palm if I have to fill it! I only did three years of Latin in a former century 😊and although French is my primary passion it’s so rusty now, whole flakes have peeled from my mind!
        Did I really guess true?

      6. If you meant Spanish, that’s the extent of it right there! πŸ˜‚ But I do teach English…’I do have a great fascination for French though, although my knowledge there too is limited to popular words and phrases! 😊

      7. Phew! I’m glad you chose a Spanish phrase that I understood then… I would hate for any incomprehensible words to fall between us !
Your English is absolutely perfect, not even a typo here or there. Detail oriented! Top of the class for you madam! 😊
In a coincidental quirk, a handful of my favourite folk on WP are teachers.
At Christmas, when I travelled to France on a vacation, I was able to meet the delightful Benedicte who runs the Diary a Soul Writer blog. It was amazing … she lives near the French Alps….an absolute sweetheart.
And she too is an English teacher.
Thank you for divulging a little Isha today πŸ˜ŠπŸ’œ

      8. I feel we’re really old friends who met a month ago πŸ˜‰ I hope to meet you too someday, although I feel like I already have! Haha! I will visit her blog too… And thanks to you for this lovely conversation! πŸ’›πŸŒŒπŸ˜˜

      9. Thank you lovely one!
It’s a peculiar way to forge a friendship in a comment section of a blog post but soft, eloquent souls as we are shall attract like fireflies dancing in the night! We grow close and I have no doubt we shall meet 😌🌹

      10. Latin is so fascinating! Such a broad, vast, ancient tongue! (Though I must, to my embarrassment admit, that I’ve usually associated it with horror movies and exorcism) 😁😏

      11. I promise I shall only exorcise the sweetest of words from you 😊🌹
I cannot let my mind dwell on your mention of horror films. It’s dark and I’ve an overactive imagination! πŸ˜–πŸ‘Ή

      12. The dark side is a wonderful place to explore; the key being to leave it timely! I’ve had a whole ‘horror films’ phase for years; the thrill enhanced by the cold weather, the environment of my town, and the company of my sister! 😁 Yet I’ve outgrown it now, and only use those feelings in my poems, to horrify readers! 😜

      13. Eek! Please post a warning as my sisters live back in Australia. So if your sister is not available to hold my hand I might have no choice but to leave any frightening Isha posts to daylight hours in public cafes!

      14. Sure thing! πŸ˜‚ I will categorise it “Horror”, to warn you, and you may read it when you’ve ample company, and on a bright, sunny morning when the birds sing and the mountains glisten πŸ’ŸπŸŒžπŸŒ„

      15. Being frightened in the right setting now seems rather compelling! I’m especially looking forward to the doodle accompanying … and to see which shade of red you use for the inevitable blood gush..
What a thought to bid you goodnight to! πŸ˜‰
        Ta ta lovely … 🌸🌸😘😴

      16. Haha 😁 I think I’ll be too scared to draw a doodle, so I’ll just make it hilariously horrifying!
Have a lovely night Diana! Until next time, sweet dreams! πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‡

  1. This is awesome. Are we going to get an Ishaisms quote every month, I ask because you’ve titled it “ISHAISM-JANUARY”?
This was a great… I can’t get it off my mind, this poetry quote goes so well with your tag line ” FICTION IS THE ONLY REALITY”.
    PERFECT!!!

    1. Thank you Vikash! Yes, I’ve decided to post a quote, or rather, an Ishaism towards the end of each month… And looking at how you amazing readers have responded to it; it gives me great confidence in doing that.
Thank you for appreciating the quote… There’s only one thing that transcends any form of fact or fiction, (although facts are also some sort of fiction to me πŸ˜‚), and that is poetry! 😊 Have a lovely day!

      1. Poetry, yes! And the beauty of poetry is, it doesn’t necessarily has to be a poem, poetry is more abstract, an essence. Sorry, I think I am losing my thread end, and swaying away from the track.πŸ˜‚
Well, that’s a wonderful idea about posting an Ishaisms every month. Looking forward!
        Have a great day! 😊😊
