Ishaisms – May

For if those, who have been shown hell, can still behold the vision of the heaven that awaits them; what then, my friend, can they not do?

Dedicated to those gems of this mortal world – Writers.

[And with this, I publish my fiftieth post on WordPress! Thank you dear reader, for your time, appreciation and love. It doesn’t take much to make me nostalgic, (as those of you who’ve been reading me since the ‘Words, Words, Words‘ days already know), and today, I find myself reflecting upon the day I started blogging. It’s funny how it’s only been five months yet I feel like I’ve been at it forever! Writing has always been my escape, my passion, my love. Even the very sound of words can calm my soul, for they are, by far, the greatest form of music there exists. It took me years to find it in me to share my work, but boy am I glad I did! The encouragement and enthusiasm I received from the writers here and readers everywhere, made me believe in myself a little more, and gave me the will to go on. I saw how most writers were troubled souls, yet how beautifully they wrote! I saw how each person here could create something magical out of miserable moments, and go through life one poem at a time. Can there be anything more beautiful than this? Writers truly are, and will always be, the strongest and the greatest people in the world.]

With love and gratitude,

    1. I’m always overwhelmed by your words and usually find myself at a loss as to what to reply with, for nothing could do justice to the adulation you always shower upon this blog. Enraptured, grateful and always humbled with such mighty praise, which I don’t believe myself worthy of but accept with the heart, soul and intent that it was offered with 😇 Thank-you so much poeticallyyours!

  5. I’m celebrating with some chocolate in hand (and there is some for you, yet I may have to enjoy it myself if you don’t join me in a timely manner!).
Dear Isha, your efforts online are a gentle delight; your blog such a satisfying place to regularly visit. There is always a guarantee of quality writing and the doodle is the artistic icing on the cake! Only five months? The rapid rise in follower numbers, that I have yet to see elsewhere on WP … well speaks for itself.
    Congrats and love,

  7. Show me hell, i will live through it. And when I do, i just need a pen/pencil and paper to write its glorious affliction. In short, writers and artists do have what it takes what to write and what to see. Keep writing milady, keep writing.
