In the back of my mind,
there’s worry and fear…which I put behind myself, half successfully
each day
until a word, or a fleeting moment of dull quietude,
some vague passing view, finds me
and reminds me of the chaos… taking me back…
to the back of my mind

Well, at least you’re keeping it all neatly packed in one place. 🙂

Yes, it happens like this. Mind likes to run, yet knowing the stillness is always there provides some solace. Beautiful poem, Isha.

To the stillness, then!
Thanks, Jeff! It’s so important to hold on to the calm.

When the mind is host to unwelcome ideas, open a window and walk very fast! Your surroundings will turn into a slide show of the moment and the aeration will flush out the foul. Writing also works ha!. Miss you xx

I actually am practicing the window idea, running in another sunny, lovely direction when dark forests loom large! 😁🙌 Thank you, my dearest. Miss you most 💕

For some they escape with white noise… you are a warrior of poet, can’t imagine you not slaying the dragon or an uncomfortable thought or memory on paper…
